
The Diamond Resorts TOC kicks off the LPGA season. John Smoltz of the Baseball Hall of Fame has won the tournament. Regulars from the celebrity circuit also attend this event. Last year, there were 10 major champions. The tournament also features a Celebrity Division as well as a Schedule of Events.
Celebrity division
53 celebrities will compete for a $500,000 prize in the Celebrity Division. Annika Sorenstam is a four-time major winner, John Smoltz is a former Atlanta Braves pitcher and Cole Swindell is a country singer/actor. Sorenstam received the Presidential Medal of Freedom during the week.

Annika Sorenstam from Australia is a tennis player who has become a celebrity on the LPGA Tour. While she has been in several tournaments and partnered with her father in PNC Championship, she has never faced a current LPGA Tour player. She will be participating in the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions Celebrity Division. Each celebrity will play their own ball using a modified Stableford format. They will then be paired in stroke play 72-holes with LPGA pros.
Packages of tickets
LPGA diamond resorts offer ticket packages that allow you to enjoy the game at a fraction of the cost. The tournament, which is held each year in Florida is sponsored by Diamond Resorts as well as the Insurance Office of America. The tournament brings together the best female golfers from around the globe and stars. The event will take place at the Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club, Orlando, from January 16 to 19.
LPGA tournaments can be booked in a variety of ticket packages. The prices range from $30 for a single event to $60 per day for a four day pass. Diamond Resorts provides the Club 18 package, which is a way to upgrade your experience. This includes a skybox with hole 18, a fully plated lunch, a premium, open bar and access to two evening events. The Club 18 package starts at $3,000
Schedule
The Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions, which will be the LPGA's main event in its rebuilding efforts is poised to dominate its schedule. This tournament will host 50 celebrity golfers. Some past participants include Alfonso Ribeiro and Toby Keith, Grant Hill, Ray Allen and Marcus Allen.

Each January, the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions features LPGA champions as well as celebrities. The 2020 tournament will feature Gaby Lopez, a native of Mexico. John Smoltz, a Hall of Fame pitcher, won the celebrity division and will defend his title in 2021.
