Soon Holm was facing a standing rear naked choke. Holm's panic caused her to recall the UFC 200 Hail Mary rearnaked choke defeat to Miesha Tate. Holm was able to get her left arm out of the choke and make it a leglock.
Vieira struggled to adjust to the ring. Although she had less experience, her loss to Holly Holm was due to her lack of it. Holly Holm was one year older. Vieira was younger than Holly Holm, as she made her MMA debut in 2011.
