Mexicans have a rich and varied history in boxing. Mexico is home to many of the top fighters around the globe, such as Julio Cesar Chavez, Oscar De La Hoya and Oscar De La Hoya. Others, such as Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, have won world championships and have become icons. Mexico is not as well-known for its MMA talent as it is in boxing but it has produced some the best fighters in MMA's history.

Brandon Carrillo Moreno from Mexico is a professional mixed martial artist. He competes as a Flyweight fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was a former Flyweight Champion, and is currently the Interim UFC Flyweight Champion. He is known for being intense and fast-paced in his fighting style.

He is married Shirley Moreno, and they have been together for over 10 year. She often stands by him when he makes public appearances. They have three daughters: Maddie was born in 2014, Megan in 2019, and Morgan in 2021. On social media, they shared photos of their loved ones.

Cain Velasquez

Cain Velasquez, Mexican heavyweight Cain Velasquez found a new career in professional wrestlers after his successful UFC career. He has fought in Mexico and the WWE. In December 2018, he signed with the Mexican promotion AAA. He plans to fight more this season.

Velasquez has been accused of attempted murder and multiple firearm assault. He is being held without bail and will appear in court on Wednesday. The shooting took place on Monday, and Velasquez was arrested in connection to the incident. The victim sustained only non-life-threatening injuries after the shooting.

Nick Diaz, a Mexican MMA fighter, is a world champion. He is also one of the most charismatic UFC fighters. His last fight was against Rob Lawler in UFC 47. Lawler won by KO in round 2. Since then, Diaz has not entered the ring professionally. Real Fight, Inc., is his own promotion company. He has also created a clothing line and a jiu jitsu training center with his brother.


In this eagerly awaited fight, Diaz will finally make his long-awaited return in the Octagon. Although this could be his final fight with WME, it is not clear what the future holds for Diaz. He will be facing Ferguson, who is a tough opponent.

Alejandro Perez

Alejandro Perez is a Mexican mixed martial artist currently fighting in the bantamweight section of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The reality television program "The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America" made the Perez a household name. Perez began to focus on MMA after he won the reality TV show.

Perez, 33 is a Mexican national. He was born September 2, 1989. Perez, now 33, competes in the bantamweight category. He made his UFC debut on November 15, 2014. He trains at American Kickboxing Academy.

Melissa Martinez

Melissa Martinez, 25, is a Mexican kickboxer. She has been competing professionally since 2016. She has a perfect track record and is considered one the best prospects in mixed martial arts. Her specialty is in shock technique. She is also a Muay Thai and kickboxing instructor.

Martinez won a medal at the 2021 World Association of Kickboxing Organiss (WAKO), World Championship, in Italy. She was also named best female fighter during the event. She also won the 2016 Pan American Kickboxing Championship, and the silver medal at the 2017 World Games. She is also a six time national champion in kickboxing. She is a promising MMA fighter who plans to continue fighting in kickboxing.
