Brooke Henderson
Brooke Henderson won the Shoprite LPGA Classic. The winner of the tournament was Brooke Henderson, 25, from Smiths Falls (Ont.). She shot 64 in the final round. Her bogey-free score of 64 helped her reach the par-5 18th hole, where she lagged an eagle putt into tap-in birdie range. Although the tournament was close before Henderson's 64 in the final round secured her 11th career title.

Julie Inkster
Julie Inkster won her first ShopRite LPGA Classic in 1986. This tournament, which is now in its 26th anniversary, is one the oldest on LPGA Tour. Since then, only Anna Nordqvist has won back-to-back LPGA Tour events. Lee was the first LPGA Tour multiple winner and earned over $11,000,000 in career earnings. Lee is the first female winner of back-to-back major championships since In Gee Chun.
Julie Boutier
Boutier took the Meijer LPGA Classic as her target and finished ninth at ShopRite LPGA Classic. Boutier managed a six-under 205 in Chevron Championships. She broke her string of three consecutive 30s. Boutier also finished tied for 34th at the US Women's Open with a scoring average of 72.5. Boutier was unable to make the cut at KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Her third place finish earned her $98,215. For the next five years, her metrics will be impressive.
Mel Reid
Mel Reid is now the Shoprite LPGA Classic winner after losing a two shot lead at Portland Classic. Ryan Desveaux was praised by the six-time LPGA Tour winner for his comeback. Reid's first major title will come with the win. She is a top seed in the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, the fourth major of the season.
Albane Valenzuela
Albane Valenzuela is on her way towards a remarkable finish, having completed three rounds in the 60s & 70s to reach round four of the ShopRite LPGA Classic. Valenzuela, a New Yorker, currently ranks 57th at the Race to CME Globe. Valenzuela has already made five cuts in this season. Despite her inconsistent play and enjoying Canada, Valenzuela, 24, is excited to be playing this weekend.

Lydia Ko
Lydia Ko, who placed in the top 25 at US Open after earning more than $600k, has now returned to contention at ShopRite LPGA Classic. The Australian is six strokes behind the leaders following her opening round of 70, but she's still within reach with a scorecard of 65. This week's event takes place at the Seaview Hotel Golf Club in Long Branch.
