LPGA Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions

The Diamond Resorts TOC kicks off the LPGA season. John Smoltz, a member of the baseball Hall of Fame, has won the tournament. The celebrity golf circuit is also a regular attendee of the event. Last year, 10 major champions played. The tournament also features a Celebrity Division as well as a Schedule of Events.

The Celebrity Division of the Diamond Resorts Tournament features 53 celebrities competing for a $500,000 purse. Annika Srenstam, who is a four time major champion, John Smoltz from the Atlanta Braves, and Cole Swindell, a country singer/actor, are part of the field. During the week, Sorenstam, who received the Presidential Medal of Freedom this week, made her first public remarks.

Annika Sorenstam is an Australian tennis player and a well-known celebrity on the LPGA Tour. While she has been in several tournaments and partnered with her father in PNC Championship, she has never faced a current LPGA Tour player. She will be competing in the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions Celebrity Division, where each celebrity will play their ball in a modified Stableford format. They will then be paired with LPGA pros in a 72-hole stroke play event.

Packages for tickets

Ticket packages for LPGA diamond resorts are a great way to see the game without paying full price. The tournament is hosted annually in Florida by Diamond Resorts and Insurance Office of America. The tournament features the world's top women golfers and celebrities. The Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club in Orlando will host the event this year.


There are several ticket packages available for LPGA tournaments, ranging from $30 for a single day on the grounds to $60 for a four-day pass. For those looking to upgrade their experience, Diamond Resorts offers the Club 18 package. This package includes a skybox for hole 18, a fully catered meal, a premium open-bar breakfast, and access two private evening events. The Club 18 package starts at $3,000

Schedule

As the LPGA continues its rebuilding efforts, its schedule is set to be dominated by the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions. This tournament will feature 50 celebrity golfers. Past attendees have included Toby Keith, Alfonso Ribeiro, Grant Hill, Ray Allen, Justin Verlander, Marcus Allen, and Jerry Rice.

Every January, the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions hosts LPGA champions. Gaby Lopez, a Mexican native, will be playing in the 2020 tournament. John Smoltz, a Hall of Fame pitcher, won the celebrity division and will defend his title in 2021.
