Alyssa Naeher plays soccer goalkeeper for Chicago Red Stars in the National Women's Soccer League. She is also a member of the United States national team. She made her professional debut in 2006, and since then has made it to the top.
Naeher was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on April 20, 1988. Naeher, a United States woman's soccer player, made her debut with the team in December 2014. It was at the International Tournament of Brazil that Naeher made her debut. Naeher is a key player in the team’s success and has become one of the top women's goalkeepers.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe, who led the United States in victory at the 2019 Women's World Cup has won the Golden Ball (and the Golden Boot). She is also feminist who has been fighting to equal pay and being a strong advocate for women's soccer. She attributes the many changes she's seen in the game to her Seattle Reign coach Lisa Harvey and Jill Andonovski.
Rapinoe's controversial sexuality hasn't kept her away from the sport, but her popularity has helped her fight for equality for female players. She has been a vocal advocate for the LGBTQ community, and she was one of the first white athletes to kneel during the national anthem, a move that inspired Colin Kaepernick's protests against racism in American sports. Rapinoe also participated in a lawsuit against US Soccer Federation for gender discrimination. The case was settled by Rapinoe in 2021.

Jerramy Stevens
Jerramy Stephens, US women's football goalie has been arrested for allegedly assaulting Hope Solo. The couple were scheduled to get married the day prior to the altercation. According to police, Stevens was charged with fourth-degree assault. Judge ruled however that there wasn't sufficient evidence to support the filing of charges. Prosecutors can still file charges later if there is more evidence.
Hope Solo is alarmed at Stevens’ arrest. Stevens, a former NFL tight end and captain of the U.S. women’s soccer team, reportedly had an argument with Stevens' family. Stevens was arrested, but the charges were dropped. The couple have been married for over ten years and are expecting twins in March 2020.
