Morgan
Alex Morgan is out of the two friendlies against England & Spain because of injury. VlatkoAndonovski, USWNT coach, has released the 24-player roster for two international games. Matches are scheduled for October 7th in London and October 14th in Pamplona (Spanish). Both teams are qualified to compete in the 2023 World Cup of Australia.
Carli Lloyd
Carli Lloyd is one of the top goal scorers in US women's soccer history. She has 314 caps for the USWNT, and could make more if she plays in both friendlies against South Korea. Her career is not without controversy, having been marred by her split with longtime trainer James Galanis and a major injury. She is also the highest-paid player in the women's game.

Alyssa Thompson
Among the top young American players, Alyssa Thompson has the ability to stand out as one of the brightest prospects. She has the technical control and speed to defeat defenders in one on one duels. Tracey Kevins was the coach for the US women's U-20 national team. Kevins recalls Thompson, 13, when she was scouting clubs in Southern California. She met a forward who was "brave", and "resilient" on that field. Thompson is today a part of the US women’s national soccer team.
Tobin Heatingh
Tobin Heath is a forward who has recently been selected to the US women's soccer team roster. She is a standout soccer player, who has represented both the North Carolina Tar Heels (USA) and the United States. The United States Soccer Federation has called Heath "perhaps the most talented player in the USA." US Soccer named her Athlete for the Year in 2016.
Hope Solo
Hope Solo is an controversial figure in women’s soccer. Her legacy is complicated. She is considered one of America's greatest goalkeepers. Solo has played in 202 games for the U.S. and holds a record with 152 clean sheets. Solo's controversial personality has been a big talking point in the sport. Solo is known for her outspoken views.
Tobin Naeher
The United States women's soccer team is in the final stages of their World Cup qualification campaign. Tobin Nasser was a surprise pick, but she's been a valuable member of this team. She was a part of every minute of their game, and she made four saves in France's 2-1 win. Naeher also stopped Steph Houghton from trying to make a penalty kick save in semifinals.

Tiffany McLeod
A recent controversy in the US women's soccer team's match against Canada has the Canadian players accusing referee Christiana Pedersen of bias. Pedersen gave a penalty to the United States for holding the ball within the penalty area in the 80th minute. Pedersen is also a former World Cup referee. He was not available immediately for comment.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe was a consistent presence on the United States women’s team for more a decade. The forward is a force on and off-the field. She was raised in Redding (California) and played volleyball alongside her older brother. Rapinoe has been a major player for the United States in recent years. She scored two goals at the 2012 World Cup as well as another in the 2015 World Cup.
