Spain's performance against the USA was disappointing after it had played a poor first half. They showed more energy against Sweden and displayed a more physical style. The US's inability to finish was well-reported, but JenniHermoso scored a brilliant goal that tied the score at nine minutes. The physicality leveled off in the second half, with Spain failing to convert several penalties and yellow cards. Megan Rapinoe used the opportunity to flag Spain for a soft foul in the 76th minute. The US's physical fitness showed in the last 15 minutes.

La Roja's performance against the USA

La Roja's performance against the United States was an eye-opening performance. The U.S. WNT had not conceded a goal in eight consecutive competitive games, outscoring their opponents 44-0. Despite America's impressive goal-scoring records, the Spaniards have become stronger. They are a dangerous side that can exert pressure on the inexperienced U.S. goalkeeper. La Roja was frustrated with their two last goals, both scored in the second half by Megan Rapinoe.

They were formed against South Africa

Spain began their match against South Africa with a 4-3-3 formation. Spain's wide attackers occupied the half-spaces and created space for their fullbacks. South Africa had little chance to counterattack as the midfield was compact. With the exception to a few great efforts by Amanda Mthandi or Kgatlana, the main goal-scoring midfielders in Spain were the ones responsible.

Their away kit against South Africa

The Springboks were last seen wearing a red change jersey against Argentina in 2017. In September 2017, they wore one in red against Argentina. Asics created the red away jersey as a promotional product. It featured the Springboks and Blitzboks wearing all the colours of South Africa's flag. In the Sevens series, they also wore greens and blacks.

Their performance against Sweden

Sweden beat Germany 2-1 to reach the quarter-finals of 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. Sweden won the quarter-final and will now face France, Germany or France in the final at Wembley. The Swedish team used their athleticism to overrun Germany's backline, and their game-winning goal in the 48th minute sealed victory for the hosts. Sweden won 1984's European Championships with penalties. It hopes to repeat that feat at Wembley.
