Morgan Brian has had a tough couple of years, while Ali Krieger has lost favor following her performance at the Olympics. She was injured for two years, and she was the last to be informed she made it. The goalkeeper is one question mark. Ellis has had three different goalkeepers this year. We will soon learn the truth. The other four names on the roster are still unknown.
Tierna Davidson
Tierna Davidson is the USWNT World Cup's youngest participant. The Chicago Red Stars draft pick in the first round is a center back with a strong playmaker mentality. Davidson won the 2017 National Championship with Stanford and was drafted in the same year by the Chicago Red Stars. After playing 90 minutes for the USWNT in 2018, Davidson is now in full training.

Ali Krieger
Ali Krieger, U.S. Women's National Team defender, has been announced as part of the roster for 2019 World Cup. The 26-year-old has been awarded three international caps and was the team's best defense in 2015. The U.S. WNT's defensive line kept its opponents to three goals per game in 2015 Krieger was part of five consecutive shutouts throughout the World Cup. She played from the second game in the group stage to the semifinal match. In 2011, she scored two game-winning penalty kicks against Brazil and helped the U.S. WNT reach the final against Japan. She played in all 600 minutes of that tournament.
Carli Lloyd
It's no surprise Carli Lloyd was selected for the USWNT world Cup roster. The 39-year-old is an American soccer legend. She is currently the American's top-scoring player, and also the oldest player on their roster. Her goals and assists have helped the USWNT reach the final of three consecutive World Cups, most recently the 2015 tournament in France. However, her career is far from over.
Tierna Mewis
Mewis has appeared 47 times for the U.S. team, after she won her first U.S. woman's national team title in 2014. She has scored nine goals. Mewis also served as an alternative for the 2016 Olympic squad. While Mewis is still young, she is an incredibly talented player. She is a great choice for USWNT's midfielder. Her skills and experience will prove valuable as the team prepares in preparation for the World Cup.
Casey Short
While it's not the most glamorous job in women's soccer, Casey Short is one of the most important players on the USWNT roster. After all, she's already earned more money than most professional women's soccer players, and her contribution to the team has been essential. Christen Press, a fellow player, said it best: "I'm very proud about Casey."

Chelsea O'Hara
While she might be a former winger, Chelsea O'Hara is one of the most talented fullbacks in the USWNT. O'Hara is a former winger who has played in 115 matches of the USWNT's senior team and U-16 teams since 2004. She also scored 37 goals for national team. O'Hara only played two minutes for the Utah Royals FC this season. She has World Cup experience, as she was an integral part of the team's 2015 championship run.
