Brooke Henderson is the LOTTE Champion
The LPGA's Brooke Henderson is poised to claim her sixth career title after leading the LOTTE Championship leaderboard through 36 holes on Thursday. The American has been searching for a win since January, but has been in great form this week, shooting a six-under-par total of 69. She averaged 25 putts per round in the first half of the tournament. Through two rounds, she has not made a bogey and has a total of 68 putts in her five last rounds.
Brooke Henderson led the leaderboard after round two of the LOTTE Championship. Despite some challenging conditions, she still won. She is now two strokes ahead Mo Martin, who shot an eight-under-par 70, as well as Shanshan Fueng, who shot an eight-under-par 73. Pernilla Linberg, who is the only player to break 70, tied for 25th.

Annika Sorenstam trails Madelene Sagstrom
Annika Sorenstam is now back at the top on the LPGA Tour leaderboard, having shot a 5-under 65 last Thursday. Madelene Sagstrom, a fellow LPGA Tour star and one of her captain's picks from last year, joined her. After the first round, the pair shot a 5-under 65. Sorenstam is competing in her second LPGA Tour event for the year and third overall since 2008 Sorenstam will be playing alternate shot on Friday, and Sagstrom will try for luck on Saturday.
Sorenstam, one of the four players who shot a round of 69, was two shots ahead of Sagstrom. Both players are still in the hunt for a win, but they are still within reach of a trophy. Sorenstam is yet to win on the LPGA Tour. Since 2008, Sorenstam has not won on the LPGA Tour.
Brooke Henderson is the winner of the second straight LPGA event
Brooke Henderson from Canada won her second consecutive LPGA Canada tournament. The 18 year old had a phenomenal year. At eighteen, she won Toronto's Women's PGA Championship and was invited to the 2016 Olympics. In Rio, she was seventh in the women’s golf tournament. She holds the record of the Canadian with the most LPGA Tour wins. In April 2021, she will win her tenth LPGA event. Since her debut in 2015, Henderson has won an LPGA tournament every year.
Brooke Henderson has now won three LPGA Tour titles with her win in Canada. She won the LOTTE Championship in May last year and also won the McKayson New Zealand Open and Meijer Classic. Her victory broke the Canadian record for LPGA Tour victories with two strokes. Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson were also beaten by her win. She also claimed the Bobbie Rosenfeld Award, the LPGA's highest honor.

Brooke Henderson won two LPGA events last year
Brooke Henderson won Los Angeles' second LPGA event, winning with a bogey free 64. After two rounds, she was four shots behind her leader. But by the end of the final round, her score was 12 under, which is one stroke more than the leader. Lindsey Weaver Wright was just starting her career on tour. But Henderson's win ended in a playoff. Henderson birdied the last hole to secure her first victory of the year.
The Canadian was also the winner of the LPGA at Seaview event. In 2016, she won the Women’s PGA Championship. She began the afternoon round four shots behind Korda but quickly recovered and made birdies on the opening two holes. Nos. 3 through 9 were her bogeys. After making bogeys on holes 3 and 9, she was on a tear on nine.
